Saddleback is a great bargain for an overnight stop and honors Passport America. All sites are 40' wide by 75' long, level, gravel, with full hookups, 50/30/20 amps. Each site is landscaped in a desert motif with native plants, cactus and has a small tree. We are in a fifth wheel so do not use campground bathrooms or showers. Easy I-10 on and off. Gas and convenience store at campground. Restaurant is no longer in business. We would stay here again when in the area.

This is a nicely maintained, small campground with three little lakes: one with a beach, playground and picnic pavillions. It was designed to be handicapped accessible so the trails around the lakes are paved. It is easy to get to with a big rig and has several long pull-through sites. Great satellite and cell reception, due to all sites being out in the open. Located within 40 miles of Lake Michigan beaches. Reasonably priced for full hookups. We would gladly return.

Lake Allatoona is gorgeous and this campground on it has something for everyone, from tent sites nestled in the trees, to long pull through sites for big rigs. Access to the campground is easy and dump stations roomy. Each restroom also has one washer and one dryer, costing $1 per load. Roads in the campground and sites are recently paved. The lake was high when we were there so a few lakefront sites were flooded out. Our rate reflects the Golden Access Pass rate. We enjoyed the area so much we stayed two weeks!
